Highest Cash Offer in Tampa Bay
We consistently outpay pawn shops and jewelry stores. Offers based on real market data, not arbitrary lowball estimates.
Certified Diamonds Welcome
Have a GIA or IGI certificate? It helps us make a stronger offer. But don't worry if you've lost it — we evaluate accurately either way.
Lab-Grown Diamonds — We Buy Those Too
Many buyers won't purchase lab-grown diamonds. We buy both natural and lab-grown (CVD & HPHT) and evaluate them fairly based on current market values.
Discreet & Pressure-Free
Never any pressure to sell. Free evaluation. Walk away at any point. Complete discretion guaranteed.
Why Pawn Shops Underpay for Diamonds
Most pawn shops underpay for diamonds due to lack of expertise. They may not evaluate the 4Cs accurately, miss certification value, ignore brand premiums, or apply outdated price tables. On a quality 1-carat diamond, the difference can be $1,000–$3,000+.
- ✓ Larger stones = significantly higher value
- ✓ Certification (GIA/IGI) increases your price
- ✓ Brand jewelry (Tiffany, Cartier) can significantly increase payout

Our Evaluation Process
How We Determine the Value of Your Diamond
Diamonds have no universal 'spot price' like gold or silver. Their value is determined by multiple interacting factors that require professional gemological training to assess accurately. Here is our full evaluation process — every step performed in front of you.
Gemological Loupe & Microscope Examination
We begin with a magnified examination of every diamond using a 10× loupe and gemological microscope. This allows us to assess the stone's clarity characteristics (inclusions and blemishes), evaluate facet symmetry and polish, and check for any treatments such as fracture filling or laser drilling. Treated diamonds have lower market value than untreated stones of equivalent appearance — we always disclose what we find.
4C Grading — Cut, Color, Clarity, Carat
Using the GIA's internationally standardized grading system, we assess all four quality factors. Cut quality (Excellent, Very Good, Good) is the single biggest value driver for round brilliant diamonds — an Excellent-cut stone can be worth 2–3× a poorly-cut stone of equal carat weight. Color is graded D through Z; D–F (colorless) and G–H (near-colorless) command the strongest premiums. Clarity ranges from Flawless to I3; VS1–SI2 represent the most common retail range. Carat weight is measured on a precision scale. Together, these four grades position your diamond precisely in the market.
Certificate Review — GIA, IGI & Others
If your diamond has a GIA or IGI grading report, we cross-reference it against our own assessment. A certificate eliminates grading uncertainty and typically adds 15–25% to our offer for stones 0.50ct and above. We verify the certificate number against the grading lab's online database to confirm authenticity. For uncertified stones, we grade the diamond ourselves and make an offer based on our assessment — with full transparency about the grade we assigned.
Market Comparables & Secondary Market Research
Diamond pricing is dynamic. We reference current secondary market sales data — comparable certified stones selling at auction and on dealer networks — to ensure our offer reflects what your specific diamond is worth today. A 1ct G/VS2 Excellent round sold at Sotheby's three months ago gives us a real anchor. We don't use outdated price sheets.

What Affects the Price of Your Diamond in Tampa
Diamond pricing is complex — unlike gold, there's no single 'spot price.' These are the factors that move the needle most significantly.
Cut Quality — The Dominant Value Driver
Among all the 4Cs, cut quality has the largest impact on a round brilliant diamond's value. An Excellent-cut 1-carat G/VS2 diamond might be worth $6,000 on the secondary market. The identical stone in a Good cut might fetch $3,500 — a 40%+ difference with no change in weight, color, or clarity. Cut affects the stone's optical performance: how it reflects light, sparkles, and catches the eye. Our evaluators assess the facet proportions, symmetry, and polish of every stone.
Color Grade — D Through Z
Color has a significant and non-linear impact on price. D–F (colorless) stones command strong premiums. G–H (near-colorless) are the sweet spot for value. I–J show slight warmth visible to a trained eye. Below K, the discount accelerates. A 1-carat D/VS1 diamond might be worth $9,000–$12,000 — while an identical 1-carat K/VS1 might fetch $2,800–$3,500. Fancy colored diamonds (vivid yellow, pink, blue) operate on an entirely different scale — a vivid pink 1-carat could be worth $80,000–$200,000+.
Clarity Grade — What's Inside the Stone
Clarity affects value, but less dramatically than cut or color in most commercial ranges. VS1–VS2 and SI1 grades are the most commonly sold and are considered 'eye-clean' (inclusions invisible without magnification). Flawless and Internally Flawless stones command significant premiums due to extreme rarity — less than 1% of all diamonds qualify. I2–I3 clarity grades show visible inclusions and trade at steep discounts. Certain inclusion types (twinning wisps, feathers near the girdle) also affect durability and desirability beyond pure clarity grade.
Carat Weight — Exponential, Not Linear Pricing
Diamond prices per carat increase exponentially as weight rises. A 0.50ct stone might be worth $1,200/ct. A 1.00ct of similar quality might be $4,500/ct. A 2.00ct might be $12,000/ct. This means a 2ct diamond is not twice as valuable as a 1ct — it's 5x or more. 'Magic weights' (0.50, 1.00, 1.50, 2.00ct) command slight premiums over stones just below those thresholds. Our precision scales weigh to 0.001ct accuracy.
GIA / IGI Certification
A GIA or IGI grading report is not just a piece of paper — it's a trusted, third-party verification of your diamond's characteristics that adds real dollar value. For a 1ct+ stone, certification typically adds 15–25% to our offer by eliminating grading uncertainty. GIA is the most conservative and widely trusted lab. IGI is well-respected, especially for lab-grown diamonds. Uncertified diamonds are still purchased and evaluated — we grade them ourselves — but the documentation premium is real.
Brand & Secondary Market Demand
The same diamond set in a Tiffany ring is worth more than the same diamond in a generic setting — sometimes 30–80% more. Certain brands (Tiffany, Cartier, Harry Winston) maintain strong secondary market demand from buyers who specifically seek branded pieces. Current trends also affect diamond demand: oval and cushion cuts are in high demand in 2026, while round brilliants maintain the deepest and most liquid resale market. Fancy shapes that were trendy in past decades (marquise, pear from the 1990s) can be harder to place.

The 4Cs — What Actually Determines Diamond Value
Every diamond is evaluated using four internationally standardized criteria developed by the GIA. Understanding the 4Cs helps you understand our offer.
✂️ Cut — Most Important
Determines brilliance and fire. Grades: Excellent to Poor. A well-cut 1ct diamond can be worth 2–3× a poorly cut stone of equal carat weight.
🎨 Color — D to Z Scale
D-F (colorless) are most valuable. G-H near-colorless. Below J shows warmth. Fancy colored diamonds (pink, blue, yellow) follow different grading with extraordinary premiums.
🔍 Clarity — Internal Characteristics
FL/IF (flawless) to I3 (included). Most retail diamonds are VS1–SI2. Flawless stones are exceptionally rare and command significant premiums.
⚖️ Carat — Weight, Not Size
Prices increase exponentially with weight. A 2ct stone is not 2× a 1ct — it can be 3–5× more. "Magic sizes" at 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0ct command slight premiums.
Why Certification Matters
A GIA or IGI certificate confirms a diamond's grade from an independent authority. A certified 1ct G/VS2 diamond typically receives an offer 15–25% higher than an uncertified stone. But don't let a missing certificate stop you — we evaluate uncertified diamonds accurately.
Designer Diamond Jewelry — When Brand Adds Value
Tiffany & Co., Cartier, Harry Winston, Van Cleef & Arpels — pieces from these houses command brand premiums beyond the stone and metal. Bring original packaging, receipt, or certificate if you have it — it can meaningfully increase your offer.
Natural vs. Lab-Grown Diamonds
Lab-grown diamonds have fallen 70–85% vs. natural stone prices as production scales. We evaluate each fairly based on its actual market — never confusing the two or applying wrong pricing. IGI certification is particularly important for lab-grown stones.
